Shop Takes Holistic Line On Cancer

LIFESTYLE products, gifts and educational materials are among the expanded merchandise range available at the revamped Cancer Council shop that opened yesterday at Garden City, Kotara.
Diet and exercise figure prominently among preventative measures, with exercise mats and weights on sale, together with cookbooks and useful kitchen items.
Cancer Council chief executive officer Dr Andrew Penman said practical help for people living with cancer and their carers was offered through information and specialist products, part of a holistic approach.
